Josie and Dad recently started the tomato garden. Josie loved the dirt until the wind picked up and started blowing it into her eyes.
Roslyn's crawling talents really took off in April. She loves motoring around the house. Mama and Daddy like to say, "Here comes Franken-Roz!" when they hear her slow slap, slap, slap on the floor coming closer and closer.
Roz loves self-feeding and pretty much hates being spoon fed. She is such a fan of her sippy cup that her parents have to hide it out of sight until she has gotten a good feeding in.
Roslyn does a mean duck imitation, but sometimes it seems as though her
kawk-kawk is her default noise for any animal. Yesterday Roz was able to imitate the sounds of a horse, cow, sheep, and duck. Just to end it on a high note, Mom will not ask her to imitate any animal sounds for another year.

Josie continues to love walking her legs off at the zoo! One warm day many of the animals were particularly friendly.

There's not much the Joh(a)ns(e/o)n family likes better than a trip to the Blind Lady Ale House. Roz, Josie, and Mama are both fans of the vegan pesto pizza, a garlicky and green pie topped with mushrooms, olives, arugula, and pickled onions!

Some parting tidbits...

| Josie, most people cannot stand the sensation of water rushing into their shoes. |
