Bobcat and Ocelot joined their maternal grandparents, the Fiscus contingent, Aunt Sara and cousin Lucy in central Florida for a vacation in the magical land of Walley World. Roslyn perfected her crawling and grew a tooth during her stay. Josie loved swimming (basically walking around on the steps of the pool), playing with her cousins, and getting extra attention from Daddy and Grammy.
Josie had mixed feelings about the Magic Kingdom. She loved the music and characters best of all, but was particular about what rides she preferred. She was brave enough to go on a small roller coaster and as many spinney rides as she could get to. On the other hand, Josie was terrified to tears on any ride with darkness. "It's a Small World" was the lone exception to that rule.
Daddy has been banned from the Mad Tea Party since he barfed in his tea cup back in '84.
Josie hated the ever-loving crap out of the Buzz Lightyear ride. Mama was surprised because Josie seems to really like Woody and Buzz. She had the opportunity to shoot stuff and turn the car, but instead Josie cried in Mama's lap.
Rozzie loves the water and hated ever having to leave the pool. Daddy likes to point out that her swim suit has "horizontal stripes to accentuate the bust and vertical stripes to slim the hips."
Josie mistakenly called a koala on "It's a Small World" a Mickey Mouse. For the rest of the trip, every Mickey was a koala. She's fun, that Jos.
For Josie two redeeming qualities of Epcot Center were: the fountains and the musical performance. She and Roz really got into a Moroccan group and a kilt-clad classic rock group.
Grammy and Josie got to spend one afternoon together at Magic Kingdom and they both had a ball. Josie danced to some musical performances, ate an obscene amount of peanut butter, and criticized toddlers for using pacifiers.
Everyone missed Uncle John and Aunt Rebecca, but Josie and Roz are hoping to catch up with them on their upcoming trip to Kentucky.
