Halloween

To celebrate Halloween 2012 JP, Annie, Josie, and Roslyn dressed as the two most recognizable members of Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. Since it seemed like the more socially acceptable thing to do, Josie was a pirate girl for her school's Halloween parade. Annie and Roz spent the morning of Halloween at the Stroller Strides Halloween Fair 2012.

At the Stroller Strides party the kids trick-or-treated from stroller to stroller before walking the plank (extra piece of bamboo from the kitchen remodel) in order to steal a shrunken head (white chocolate covered strawberry with a chocolate chip face) from Davey Jones' locker (picnic table).

Josie had fun at her school party. They had a parade and then frosted and decorated pumpkin cookies. It seemed to Mama that every other parent stayed to watch the parade. Conveniently, Josie didn't seem to mind.

Van Halen and Van Halen Mini had dinner at Blind Lady before meeting up for trick-or-treats with the Stallings family.

Josie collected a sizable bucket of loot. Of all the goodies she could munch on during the short drive home she chose ... a green apple Dum Dum.
